Jacron: Paper that wears like leather

Turns out, you don’t need leather for a leather patch. Jacron paper does the job just as well—maybe better. It’s the same stuff Levi’s uses, a pressed cellulose fiber that looks like leather, wears like leather, but won’t crack, peel, or freak out when it gets wet. So we’re using it for the tabs on our new jeans—clean, structured, and built to last.

But we’re not stopping there. This stuff’s got potential. It’s tough, pliable, and ages like a good pair of jeans. So, naturally, we’re thinking: a Jacron “paper leather” jacket. Lightweight, structured, and built to break in, just like the real thing—only, you know, made from paper.

For now, it’s on our jeans. Soon? Maybe a whole damn jacket.
